Dustin M Thompson Scholarship

Portland's High School Recreational Soccer Club is pleased to announce the Dustin Thompson Scholarship.

This $1500 award is available to college-bound Seniors that are current participants with the club. This scholarship may be shared by one or more male and/or female players based on review of applications received.

The scholarship is named in honor of PYSA Executive Director Brett Thompson's son, Dustin, who passed away in 2001 at the age of 19. Dustin played soccer from age 5 through age 19 in college. He was a very giving person and it is in this spirit that the scholarship is being offered.

The Dustin Thompson Scholarship is made available based on generous contributions from the Thompson family, Portland High School Recreational Soccer Club, and Portland City United.
